I'm a black woman with very unique background. I am the daughter of a black republican pastor. I agrew up in the suburbs of Ohio and was routinely the " first" black person to cross many invisible barriers. I was also physically assaulted for being black as a teenager and have experienced biased incidents at the hands of police which spurned my interest in police reform and policy.

My now added tumultuous and sometimes traumatic experience with long covid and my many attempts to get life saving care has provided me with first hand experience in some of the hurdles people of color face in the medical care system.

I appreciate having the opportunity to share my ideas, experiences and perspective with others around me.

I invite you to take a dive into my world. Keep exploring to view my videos, check out my recent news interviews, panels and so much more. If you’d like to chat, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
